Now’s The Time

Even though frog fishing is no secret, there are some key modifications to your bait that every angler should know.
Over the past month I have spent most of my time on the water throwing nothing but a frog. Like many techniques in bass fishing, subtle modifications to your bait can play a huge role in your success. Out of the package most hollow body frogs need some adjustment. Yes, you could just open the package, tie it on, and start casting, but I wouldn’t recommend doing that. Little things like rolling the hooks up and out a little, trimming the skirt, and even adding a single rattle can make a huge difference.

Love me some frog fishing.
I walk them the majority of the time.
Used black a lot but recently started doing good on white.
